I Hope

I hope you feel sad
when you look in your heart
   & see that I'm gone
I hope you feel real bad
   when you realize your heart beat is off;
    wrong
  I hope your chest grows tight
   when you realize
    you can't get me back
   I hope your chest grows so tight
    that you can't breath;
     Asthma Attack
    I hope you feel dumb
     when you see the Pokémon
      I got you
     I hope you feel real stupid
      when you see
       the ring around Pikachu
I hope you feel all the things I felt
in the last 4 years
  in one day
I hope you feel...
  on second thought, I'd never
   want my heart to feel that way...

My Lil' Story 'bout Love

I've loved and I've lost. My high school sweetheart who I loved and lost after not treating her right. I thought maybe one day I would be able to get that back. Heaven's Sonnet 1

I needed to be happy and the only way I saw that happening was with my mother. The next seven poems are my attempt at writing a sonnet and creating a story of them. The story is about #suicide and was written when I was in a state of depression I know no one around me at the time could bring me out of. And I really didn't have the energy to try and get myself out of. I was a low place where I didn't care and really didn't want to live. But, I'd been told by my sister that I needed to find a reason. I needed to find a reason to go on, a reason to fight. My mother was my reason. So, in an effort to see her again, to paint an everlasting picture of her and where she is, I started the projects called Heaven's Sonnet and it turned out to be an effective suicide prevention project. Love

I haven't had a lot of luck with love in my life, so I don't write and haven't written many #poems about love. I felt that the inspiration always led to something dark and twisted, something depressing. But, being a writer, I decided to see if I could.
